Google Mars

Just ran across this Google Mars web site. Given what we knew about Mars 100 years ago from Percival:

Its incredible to see this information being so readily available for the public.

Its also incredible that NASA is reducing funding for this kind of science and discovery, in order to fund the Space Station and manned flight to nowhere. How many thousand times do we have to fly in circles around the earth to decide we’ve had enough? How many robotic missions could we send off to return real science?
